WINTER HERD CLASSIC 2017

Nearly 100 people attended the annual Border & Lakeland Dinner dance at The Heather Glen Hotel, Ainstable.  The food was tremendous and the atmosphere buzzing, with anticipation for Andrew Wilson from the Northshields herd remarks from his day spent touring around the entrants for the Winter Herd Classic competition. He remarked he had had a fabulous day and it had been an honour to have been asked to judge the competition, and that as a club we are extremely fortunate to have such amazing cattle – which didn’t make his job any easier!

Following on from the presentation of awards Matthew Harper thanked Andrew for accepting to judge and Pat for presenting the awards.

Our HYB club held a very entertaining raffle! Followed by celebrations and dancing!
