The Border & Lakeland Holstein Club holds 14 sales throughout the year for all breeds of pedigree dairy cattle. 

Regarded as the #1 Source for pedigree dairy genetics in the UK the monthly female sale takes place on the third Wednesday of each month within the Borderway Sale Centre at Carlisle. 

Additionally the club hosts two Bull sales in April and September.

BORDER & LAKELAND CLUB SALE WEDNESDAY 17th JUNE 2026 STOWBECK TOP WITH TARMAC GILLY

Quality was in abundance at the June Border & Lakeland Holstein Club show and sale with an outstanding selection of fresh cows, heifers and in-calf heifers consigned from many of the best dairy farms in the North of England and Scotland. Buyers from across the UK packed the famous Borderway sale ring that saw the trade top at 4,000gns with the overall average for fresh heifers coming to £3118.

BORDER & LAKELAND CLUB SALE WEDNESDAY 20th MAY 2026 TARMAC ERLE TOPS FOR LANGPARK

The Border & Lakeland Holstein Club sale once again attracted an outstanding selection of fresh cows and heifers, in-calf heifers and yearlings for their May sale. Buyers from across the UK packed the famous Borderway sale ring that saw the trade top at 3,400gns with the overall average for fresh cows coming to almost £3000. The sale included the dispersal sale of the Kingscaird Holstein young stock that topped at 2,800gns for a fancy in-calf heifer from the Melody cow family.
